Accomplishments

Congratulations, Sherry Robinson, MS, CCC-SLP, CLC, an SLP in the outpatient rehab department at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Sherry has just passed her exam to become a Certified Lactation Counselor. She completed a 52-hour course and exam through Healthy Children Project, Inc. Center for Breastfeeding and the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice to attain her certification. She will be using this new certification to support mothers and their babies navigate the challenges that can arise in infant feeding, specifically breastfeeding.

Sherry has been a speech therapist with Med Center Health for nine years and works in our outpatient clinic, providing feeding therapy to all ages of children. She is very excited to use her new certification to provide more focused care to the breastfeeding newborn and infant population.
