Who’s going Over the Edge this year?
Three representatives from Women’s Health Specialists are stepping up to the edge of the Stadium Park Plaza roof on September 26 and going over to rappel down the 5-story building – all in support of the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center (BRACAC). Dr. Meghann Burns, Dr. Dixi Secula and Meg Thomason will symbolically step into a moment of vulnerability that represents the fear, uncertainty and courage that children face when they disclose abuse.
Med Center Health is proud to once again serve as a Presenting Sponsor of Over the Edge, an event that highlights the impact that BRACAC is making in the lives of children of our community. The center offers a child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and offer treatment for child sexual abuse victims. In 2025, 1,165 child victims and families of abuse were given a chance at healing through direct services of BRACAC.
Make plans to cheer on our Med Center Health Edgers on Saturday, September 26. They are anticipated to rappel between 10 and 11 am. We recommend arriving by 9:45 am to make sure you don’t miss them.
