Three Allen County-Scottsville students sign with Med Center
Three Allen County-Scottsville seniors signed with The Medical Center at Scottsville on Friday, May 12. The three students were hired on as activity assistants at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.
Makynlee Anderson, Emily Coulter, and Sierra Payne all attended Allen County-Scottsville High School’s signing day where seniors were recognized for their future plans after high school.
As activity assistants, they will be able to become familiar with the residents, patients, and staff at The Medical Center at Scottsville. At the beginning of June, these three will begin the CNA Trainee Program, which will allow them to become resident care partners/CNAs.
All three have plans to continue a career in the medical field. Makynlee says she would like to pursue a nursing career. Emily plans to become an EMT, and Sierra plans to begin her general education studies at Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College this fall.
