Nurse of the Year: Starlin Willis, RN
Starlin goes above and beyond every day to meet the needs of our patients. She is the first to offer a joke and a smile. You will see her rallying ther teammates. She provides patients with great nursing care. She is confident, friendly and offers support and compassion to her patients and co-workers. She has the ability to provide comfort and create a relationship that enhances the patient’s quality of life. She is able to connect with her patients on a personal level. The patients look forward toher being their nurse. She is a gift to Med Center Health and the people she cares for.
Ancillary Employee of the Year: Leslie Williams, Registration Associate
Leslie is one of the most positive people I have ever worked with. She always has a kind word and a smile whether someone is a patient, co-worker, or visitor. She goes out of her way to help co-workers, and she is a resource for them. She always does more than what is asked and is unfailingly reliable. She is the hardest working person I know, hands down. She has a positive attitude and goes above and beyond every single day. She is a knowledgeable resource for those who work with her. She is a true asset to our work environment at Med Center Health.
Clinical Support Person of the Year: Gage McMahon, Resident Care Partner:
Gage is always friendly, positive, and pleasant to everyone they encounter. He meets every challenge with a calm demeanor, patience, and with an attentive focus. He offers a welcoming smile and kind words to everyone he meets. He is quick to speak up as he is an advocate for patient care. He has taken great interest to grow and develop in his role at Med Center Health. Gage is also working toward continuing his education. He communicates well with other staff and leadership team members. He offers insight in difficult situations and will work overtime shifts to accommodate the needs of the department.
