Spotlight on Employee Assistance

The myMCH Portal, Med Center Health’s new intranet, launched in May and provides convenient access to a variety of Med Center Health employee resources all in one location. You now have easy access to the resources you use on a regular basis as well as resources you may not be as familiar with.  One such resource is Employee Assistance.

When you click on the icon above in the myMCH Portal, you have access to the following resources:

Employee Assistance links to BHS, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner. The EAP program is available to you and your household and provides the following benefits:

  • Master’s level clinician for in-the-moment support and guidance when you need someone to talk to
  • Short-term counseling support, up to six free sessions per concern, per year
  • Consult with a legal or financial expert
  • Childcare or eldercare referrals
  • Browse lifestyle management resources
  • Participate in a training or the monthly webinar series

MCH Cares program provides financial assistance to employees or eligible dependents (spouse and dependent children) who are experiencing economic hardship and are unable to afford housing, utilities, and other needs because of a natural disaster, major medical event, serious illness or injury, death, or other catastrophic or extreme circumstance beyond the employee’s control. The program also gives all Med Center Health employees the opportunity to reach out a hand and lend their support through the Employees Contributing to Help Others program (ECHO).

If you haven’t checked out the myMCH Portal, look for the icon above on Med Center Health computer desktops.
