Serenity Space is now open!
Serenity Space at The Medical Center at Bowling Green is now open! This space was created to support the well-being and restoration of our team members. The room is equipped with a massage chair, aromatherapy, and a white noise machine; providing a quiet and calming space for all staff to pause, recharge, and care for themselves during the workday.
This space was made possible through the generous donation of a massage chair by the late Yoko Taji, a beloved former nurse whose kindness and dedication to others left a lasting impact on our organization. We invite all staff to make use of this space and hope it serves as a small but meaningful reminder of the value we place on your well-being.
Serenity Space is located in the back left corner room inside the 3D Bed Room. When using the room, please utilize the slider to indicate the room is “occupied”.
Appointments may be scheduled in 30-minute intervals. Only one staff member is allowed for each 30-minute appointment slot. While the massage chair operates for 15 minutes per session, the additional time allows team members to enter, use the room, and exit comfortably before the next appointment. Appointments may be scheduled using a QR code. Signage with a QR code is posted on the door of the Serenity Space, as well. This QR code will change monthly.
