- Week of August 31 – September 4

Volunteers will drive directly to the GM Bowling Green Assembly Plant on the day of their tour (address: 600 Corvette Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101). Once they turn onto the plant drive, there will be signs on the right-hand side of the road that will direct them toward the tour entrance. Look for these, as well as the signs on the left indicating Lot C, which is where they will park if they are not driving a UAW-built vehicle. They will then walk to the plant tour entrance. This can be a lengthy walk, so we suggest they arrive on the plant property around 15 minutes before their scheduled time.
A few of the plant’s general guidelines:
- Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required. No high heels or sandals are allowed.
- No cameras, phones, tablets, or other photo-capable devices are allowed in the plant.
- No bags, purses, or totes are permitted unless for medical reasons.
- Walking assist devices (canes, walkers, crutches, etc.) are not permitted.
- No high-mobility support vehicles are allowed in the plant.
Once you arrive at the plant tour check-in desk, we will have volunteers sign a liability release, complete volunteer forms, and watch a safety video; their tour guide will answer any questions they have about their responsibilities as they follow their tour.
