Medical Center Urgentcare offers vaccine on walk-in basis
Be sure to spread the word that the COVID-19 vaccine is available on a walk-in basis during Urgentcare’s normal hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days per week. As of August 9, the Med Center Health Vaccine Clinic closed its Health Sciences Complex location and transitioned to Medical Center Urgentcare located at 291 New Towne Drive in Bowling Green.
Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines for adults and children ages 12 and older are available. Anyone who prefers to make an appointment can do so by calling or texting COVID to 270-796-4400.
- Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be administered.
- There is no out-of-pocket cost for the vaccine.
- Anyone who has undergone monoclonal antibody treatment should wait 90 days before seeking the vaccine.
- Those who have recovered from COVID-19 are encouraged to be vaccinated but should wait until they have recovered from their illness and have met the criteria for discontinuing isolation (see CDC guidelines).
- COVID-19 testing is also available at Urgentcare.

Once you get your vaccination at Urgentcare, or if you are already vaccinated, be sure to enter the new drawing offered in Kentucky!
Permanent residents of Kentucky 18 years old and older who have received at least their first dose of a Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, or the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, may enter to win one of 30 drawings for a Kentucky safe-cation at one of 45 state parks. Safe-cation gift certificates will include golf rounds, and overnight lodging and campground stays at Kentucky State Parks.
