Med Center Health receives quality improvement award

Med Center Health has been named a recipient of the 2021 Premier QUEST Hero Award. The award comes from Premier Inc., a leading healthcare improvement and technology company that unites an alliance of more than 4,100 U.S. hospitals and health systems and approximately 200,000 other providers. Recipients of the 2021 QUEST Hero Award demonstrated innovation; a commitment to safe, quality patient care; swift, sweeping action; and exemplary leadership during the global crisis.

The QUEST quality improvement collaborative is an initiative launched in 2008 to help hospitals prepare for alternative payment models and provide high-value care across U.S. communities. The program aims to drive improvement across six priority areas: safety, communication and care coordination, affordable care, person and family experience, health and wellbeing, and prevention and treatment. Hospitals across 37 states participate in QUEST.
