Med Center Health Foundation makes the Season Bright this holiday season

Med Center Health Foundation’s annual Make the Season Bright program continued for its 27th year. Make the Season Bright provided a heartfelt way to remember someone special, while supporting essential health-centered initiatives that make a profound impact in our community. Celebrations happened at Bowling Green, Scottsville, Franklin, Albany, Russellville and Caverna.

Each Medical Center location offered the opportunity to purchase a light, or a poinsettia in Albany, in honor or memory of a loved one. Funds raised through each local event were used to promote specific non-profit initiatives at each hospital. Contributions to Make the Season Bright in Bowling Green directly supported the Hospitality House, a “home-away-from home” that makes life better for so many families in our communities.

Until January 5, you can purchase a holiday light in honor or memory of someone special in your life. Lights are available at $10, $25, $50, or $100 levels in Bowling Green, Franklin, Horse Cave, Russellville, and Scottsville.  In Albany, a $20 donation adds a poinsettia to the Poinsettia Tree that will be on display in the hospital lobby.
