Med Center Health celebrates new Glasgow facility
Med Center Health proudly cut the ribbon on its latest capital investment in community healthcare, Med Center Health Glasgow. The event saw a crowd of hundreds of people and featured the Glasgow High School Scottie Singers, a brunch bar, and tours of the brand new 22,000 square foot facility. Med Center Health Glasgow is dedicated to providing primary and specialty care to the residents of Barren and surrounding counties and features an outpatient diagnostic imaging center which will offer X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, bone density, CT and echocardiography.
Med Center Health physicians will hold regular clinic hours at the new facility, allowing patients to receive care close to home. Planned specialties include, but will not be limited to:
- Cardiology
- Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Gastroenterology
- General Surgery
- Gynecology
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopaedics/Sports Medicine
- Primary Care
- Pulmonology
- Urology
- Vascular Surgery
The facility will officially open on Monday, April 28.
