Going Over the Edge to help kids

Last weekend, Med Center Health was proud to be a presenting sponsor of Over the Edge. Med Center Health staff and members of Team Health stepped up and rappelled down the 5-story Stadium Park Plaza building to support the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center.

Dennis Chaney, Vice President of Ancillary Services, Laiken Hayes, D.O. with StayWell Clinic, and Chad Willis, M.D. with Med Center Health Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine went Over the Edge on Friday, September 16. Kirsten Lee, APRN and Amanda Smith-Gasper, APRN with Team Health rappelled on Saturday.

Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center offers a child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and offer treatment for child sexual abuse victims. Proceeds from Over The Edge will support these services and help the center increase its prevention efforts.
