Kitchen Infrastructure Project Begins August 24
Beginning Monday, August 24, The Medical Center at Bowling Green will begin an approximately three-month kitchen infrastructure repair and improvement project. During construction, Food Services will operate from a mobile kitchen near the loading dock to maintain uninterrupted patient meal service.
Here’s what you need to know:
Dining
- The Café will remain open during current hours with a modified menu. Chick-fil-A will be available Tuesdays and Fridays at the Expo Station, with payroll deduction available.
- Other campus options include:
- Subway – 1st floor, The Medical Center
- Market Café – 1st floor, Western Kentucky Heart & Lung
- Expanded food truck offerings

Construction & Access
- Beginning Monday, expect construction activity and temporary access changes around the kitchen and loading dock. Please follow posted signage and refer to the attached hallway closure map.
- Employee locker rooms and bathrooms near the loading dock will be closed during construction. Please follow posted signage and refer to the attached hallway closure map.
