January Employee of the Month – Kate Calvert

Congratulations to Kate Calvert for being named Employee of the Month for January 2025. Kate is a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Kate was nominated by two coworkers. Thank you, Kate, for all that you do here!

“Kate is always pleasant to work with, quick to respond, and provides excellent bedside care. Kate is able to handle heavy patient loads in the ER, and does so in a timely manner. My patients always give her compliments and are thankful for her, as are all the nurses that work with her. Kate is always approachable when we have any questions or concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with, and everyone is always smiling when Kate is at work. She helps the triage nurse expedite care for our pediatric patients, especially. She always makes sure any and all concerns are discussed and answered to her patients, and she makes sure they feel confident and comfortable to go home. Overall, Kate is an amazing asset to the Emergency Department.” – Kiersten Barker
