In Memoriam – Velvet Scott

It is with regret that we inform you that Med Center Health employee Velvet Scott passed away on August 29, 2023. Velvet started working with Med Center Health in June of this year as an LPN at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care in Scottsville. Please join us in extending sympathies to her family, friends and colleagues.

“Velvet started with us on June 26^th of this year,” said Woodward, Administrator of Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.” In just this short period of time, it was obvious Velvet was the perfect fit to our team. She and staff connected because she reflected such a kind, caring heart. The bond with our residents came quickly as they were a priority with Velvet. We are just heartbroken by this loss.”
