In Memoriam
John Kirkpatrick passed away on Sunday, April 17. John had worked at The Medical Center at Bowling Green since 2000, most recently in the role of Practice Manager at Med Center Health Psychiatry. Please join us in extending sympathies to John’s friends, family and colleagues.
“John will be deeply missed,” said JAT Mountjoy, Vice President of Physician Services. “While practice manager of Med Center Health Psychiatry, he was instrumental in elevating services to our patients to an even higher level. His cheerfulness, hard work and willingness to help made a difference no matter what part of the organization he worked in.”
“Sometimes you just need to wear a chicken suit or dress up like Sir Elton John,” said Georgena Brackett, System Director Health Information Management. “John was a ray of sunshine. He treated all patients with dignity and respect while working in the HIM department. He could decorate our department for any occasion and made sure that his work station had the latest style of pens with matching sticky notes. At the end of the day, we are left with a hole – John could fill that hole with a laugh, a song, and sometimes a dance. We will forever miss him.”
