Hey, batter batter!

The Warren County South Little League team is headed to the Great Lakes Regionals in Whitestown, Indiana August 8-14 to compete for a spot in the 2021 Little League Baseball World Series. Among the proud parents is Michael Cosby, Senior Materials Distribution Specialist at The Medical Center at Scottsville. His 12-year-old son Mason is a Warren County South Little League All Star who doubles as a third baseman and pitcher.

Mason started playing when he was four, and he’s no stranger to being on a championship team. His ten-year-old team won both the district and state championships in 2019. “The team is a bunch of great kids,” Michael says. “They get along great. Cary Page has been the All-Star coach for the past two years – he expects a lot from the kids and they give it to him.” Michael, himself, played baseball from the time he was six all through high school. “I was never on a team like this, though,” he says. “They truly love the game and support each other. I’m very proud of Mason and of all the kids on his team.”

Med Center Health is proud to be a sponsor of the Warren County South Little League team as they represent Kentucky and make a bid for the Great Lakes Regional Championship. They play Ohio in the first game on Sunday, August 8 at 9 a.m. CT, which will be televised on ESPN+.
