Enhanced Employee Recognition Program Now Available
Med Center Health has enhanced our current Employee Recognition Program designed to acknowledge and celebrate staff who exemplify Med Center Health’s mission, vision and values. And we have made it easier for you to nominate a fellow employee!
Find the Employee Recognition Program icon above in the myMCH Portal. There you will find program information and learn how you can recognize employees. Employees selected for these awards will be recognized in their department, on MCH Life, MCH Social Media outlets and with other non-monetary and monetary rewards.
All leaders and employees can nominate staff for the following awards:
The Bright Ideas Award recognizes employees for their contributions and actions in process improvements, creating efficiencies, enhancing quality, safety, productivity and/or communications. This award provides leaders and employees the opportunity to acknowledge staff who have made significant contributions through fostering collaboration, showing initiative, and innovative thinking. Nominations are accepted throughout the year and are considered for recognition on an ongoing basis.
Our Employee of the Month Award recognizes employees for their outstanding work and commitment to safety, excellent outcomes and an unmatched patient experience. This award is for employees who model Med Center Health’s values: Quality, People and Accountability. Each month one employee will be selected for this award. In addition to department and organization recognition, the Employee of the Month will have a reserved parking space for the month! One of the twelve Employee of the Month recipients will be considered for the annual Employee of the Year Award given in January of each year. The recipient’s photo, name and department will be displayed in the lobby of the facility he/she works, in addition to other approved recognition for the calendar year.
The Good Catch Award recognizes an employee who identifies an unexpected event that may jeopardize patient/employee safety or prevents an error that could impact the organization. With this nomination the employee engages in proactive behavior to prevent the occurrence. Nominations are accepted throughout the year and are considered for recognition on an ongoing basis.
The Good Samaritan Award is given to employees, volunteers, board members and community members who go above and beyond by performing extraordinary acts of kindness, bravery and/or service to others in times of need. Nominations are accepted throughout the year and are considered for recognition on an ongoing basis.
Each day Med Center Health employees are living out the organization’s mission. Mission Moments are brief, inspirational acts by employees that can be tied back to our mission, vision, values and guiding principles. The Mission Moments recognition is a way to highlight and thank employees for their actions or behaviors and encourages other employees to recognize these positive actions. Mission Moments are accepted throughout the year and are recognized on an ongoing basis.
