Cody Sheffield receives CPHRM certification
Congratulations to Cody Sheffield, Risk Manager at Med Center Health, on receiving his Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification. The certification itself is designed and managed by the American Hospital Association Certification Center and verifies a healthcare professional’s ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks in a healthcare environment. The certification covers patient safety, risk financing, legal/regulatory compliance, and healthcare operations.
Cody started as a floor nurse at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital at the beginning of 2019. In 2020, Cody decided to transition to Med Center Health’s Risk Management department, where he has been for nearly five years. Med Center Health is proud to honor Cody’s achievement and desire to grow in his field.
