The Medical Center at Bowling Green welcomes 2023 Teen Ambassadors

In 2022, Med Center Health Volunteer Services introduced a new initiative:  The Summer Teen Ambassador Program.  This program is designed for high school students who have an interest in working in a hospital setting.  This eight-week program will introduce students to numerous areas of the hospital, ranging from nursing to the emergency department to human resources and accounting. 

The online application was sent to all local high schools, as well partner schools that house a Medical Arts Academy program. 

This year, The Medical Center at Bowling Green welcomes 25 new Teen Ambassadors.  The 2023 program began June 13 and will continue until July 27.  Teen Ambassadors will be assisting in the hospital every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this summer.
