The Medical Center at Albany Nurse of the Year

Congratulations to Crystal Jones, RN, the 2022 Nurse of the Year at The Medical Center at Albany. Crystal has been an employee in the Surgery Department for six years. She has many roles in the Surgery Department and is integral in keeping the department running. She is also the Certified Wound Care nurse at the hospital. In addition, Crystal assists in the Cardio/Thoracic Clinic and Vascular Clinics. 

Crystal is a second generation Nurse of the Year. Her mother, Lisa Smith, is an Emergency Department Nurse and won the award a few years ago. We are proud to have both of these women on The Medical Center at Albany team.

Clinical Support Team Member of the Year

Misty Thurman is the 2022 Clinical Support Team Member of the year at The Medical Center at Albany.  Misty has worked at MCA for five years.  She takes excellent care of her patients and is a joy to work with.
