Staxi Outstanding Operator Service Award 2020

Tammy Basham, Transport Supervisor at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, is always looking for ways to make transport services for her patients more efficient and safer. She was recently nominated and received full recognition for her dedication with the Staxi Outstanding Operator Award for 2020. Tammy was nominated for this award by Kathy Smith, Director of Annual Giving for the Med Center Health Foundation.

Kathy states, “Tammy truly cares about her job and how she can make life easier for her patients and staff each day. Transportation for Med Center Health is vital to our mission. Tammy is not only a supervisor for her staff but she is a coach for them in their lives and helps guide them to make the best decisions for themselves to better their careers or goal choices.  She uses this as her way to make choices for the department and hospital.”

The Staxi Corporation created this award to recognize an employee that exemplifies outstanding service while utilizing Staxi Transport wheelchairs. Tammy also serves as co-chair for Employees Contributing to Help Others (ECHO) that benefits Med Center Health Foundation. She has been a longtime supporter of those fundraising efforts and always goes above and beyond to serve this community. Along with her recognition, Tammy was presented with a $2000 check from Staxi and immediately decided to give $1000 back to the Foundation so that more patients can be served in the future. Thank you for your service, Tammy.
