October Employee of the Month – Alvin Butler
Congratulations to Alvin Butler for being named Employee of the Month for October2024. Alvin is an EVS Technician with MCBG Environmental Services. Thank you for all that you do here!
“The staff at Advanced Heart Care would like to nominate Alvin Butler at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Alvin graciously offered to bring in some of his artwork to display throughout the unit, adding color and positivity for both staff and patients. His contributions have truly brightened our halls and brought smiles to our faces. Alvin is an integral part of our team, and we deeply value everything he does for us. After asking the staff for their input, I was overwhelmed with responses highlighting the many ways he has gone above and beyond for the team. While I couldn’t include all the stories, I’ve shared a few examples below that capture Alvin’s kindness and compassion:” – Dustin Bateman
‘He always goes above and beyond. He strips & cleans rooms before we can get to them, is observant of beds/chairs in hall, and is always bringing in food for us!’
‘Alvin is the best! He puts all of his energy into making sure our job is a little easier. His laugh is contagious and he’s down right funny! He’s always assisting us with the beds, the chairs, the paintings, bringing us food, and just being someone to vent to for sure!’

That may not sound like a big deal to some, but when you have several discharges, admits, completes… it really makes a big difference! He brings us food and brightened our floor with his beautiful artwork. I’m very thankful for Alvin and his dedication to our floor.‘
