Med Center Health Neurology Now Open
Med Center Health Neurology, a department of The Medical Center, is now open in Suite 206-A in the Medical Arts Building on the campus of The Medical Center at Bowling Green. In partnership with Graves Gilbert Clinic (GGC), the clinic opened on July 5 to provide comprehensive neurology services. Housed next door in Suite 206-B, Med Center Health Neurology Diagnostics features full neurodiagnostic services such as EEG and EMG.
Med Center Health and GGC announced the new partnership in June, working collaboratively to provide professional neurology services to patients across Southcentral Kentucky. The practice is staffed by board-certified neurologists Dr. Wesley Chou, Dr. Eme Igbokwe, Dr. Jae Lee, and Dr. Jianhua Zhu.
To address the underserved need for neurology services in the area, the practice is quickly expanding with the addition of two new neurologists. Dr. Haroon Majoka will begin practicing in mid-July with Dr. Xue Yang joining in mid-August.

Medical School: Punjab Medical College, Pakistan
Neurology Residency: University of Toledo, Ohio
In addition to epilepsy, strokes and movement disorders, Dr. Majoka has special interest in infections of the nervous system as well neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s. He follows evidence-based practice and provides holistic and compassionate care. He takes into account the specific needs and values of this patients.

Neurology Residency: Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan
Dr. Yang has special interest in strokes, headaches, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders and neuropathy. She focuses on the patient as a whole, not just the symptoms. Patients are far more than a specific injury or chronic condition. They are complex individuals with health, lifestyle, emotional and other factors that must be weighed carefully as part of their diagnosis and treatment to gain optimal results.
