Med Center Health Foundation hosts Teen Ambassador Recognition Ceremony
After wrapping up the final week of the Teen Ambassador Program, Med Center Health Foundation hosted a recognition ceremony to honor all of the teen volunteers and celebrate their growth and achievements.
In its third year, the Teen Ambassador Summer Program welcomed 29 students from 11 area high schools to complete rotations throughout The Medical Center at Bowling Green. Since June 11, this group of students visited over 20 departments and volunteered for a total of 920 hours. The purpose of this program is to give future healthcare leaders hands-on experience in a medical setting. Thank you to all the hospital employees who helped teach and mentor these future healthcare providers at the beginning of their careers.
