Med Center Health Eye Care celebrates Dr. John Downing after 54 years of caring for the community

After serving the southcentral Kentucky area and being on staff at Med Center Health for more than 50 years, Dr. John Downing has retired. Med Center Health Eye Care hosted a retirement party in the MCBG Auditorium. Dr. Downing’s staff, friends, and family were all there to celebrate his years of dedication to our community.

Dr. Downing has gone on more than 20 mission trips to help take care of patients in other countries that needed help with their eyesight. Thank you to Dr. Downing for all of his hard work and sacrifice to our community and to the communities around the world.
