Many thanks to Emily Cecil, M.D., with Med Center Health Primary Care Bowling Green, Patrick Maloney, Vice President of Nursing Administration, and Stephen Parrott, EMT with Medical Center EMS, for going Over The Edge on Saturday, September 11. Other participants included Emily Langlois, APRN, and Chris Bondick, D.O., TeamHealth providers from The Medical Center at Bowling Green Emergency Department.
More than 80 people from the community rappelled down Stadium Park Plaza. Among the community members who repelled were members of the Bowling Green Police Department, Franklin Police Department and the Tennessee National Guard.
The event raised $109,500 to benefit the Barren River Child Advocacy Center, which is chartered with caring for children and young adults who are the victims of abuse in our region of Kentucky. The Center offers a child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and offer treatment for child sexual abuse victims. Learn more at www.bracac.org.
