June Employee of the Month – Samantha Traughber

Congratulations to Samantha Traughber for being named Employee of the Month for June 2024. Samantha is an Insurance Specialist for The Medical Center at Scottsville. Thank you for all that you do at Med Center Health and for the patients you serve.

“Samantha Traughber is being nominated for Employee of the Month, due to her persistence, positivity, and dedication. Samantha has worked for The Medical Center of Scottsville for more than 12 years. In her time with us, she has been a CNA, CMT, Program Assistant, Financial Counselor, and is currently our Insurance Specialist. Because of the many hats she has worn here, she carries a wealth of knowledge. Time and time again, I witness her speak with families, patients, and residents with kindness, but she also shares information and educates them with their options and rights. She is loved by patients and families. This shows by the constant calls and visits to our office, thanking her for the information she provides. Samantha currently handles referrals for swing bed and Cal Turner. This is in addition to handling insurance for swing bed and Cal Turner. Samantha has worked so diligently that there are zero accounts with denial due to no authorization for our swing bed. Samantha clearly deserves to be recognized for her hard work.” – Jennifer Tabb
