Hundreds attend the Health & Wellness Expo

The 2024 Health & Wellness Expo drew in hundreds of local residents looking to receive free health screenings and information to improve their health. Screenings included blood pressure, blood glucose, body fat, vision, lung function and stroke risk. Demonstrations included a cooking class, the Jumpin’ Jaguars, dancing with the Rockerz, and a discussion about the dangers of opioids. The Expo was held at the Sloan Convention Center from 8 a.m. until noon on January 13. Many thanks to everyone who made the event such a success!
