Good Samaritan – Trisha Reese
Congratulations to Trisha Reese, a nurse on 3B, for being honored with the Good Samaritan Award. Please see the nomination below to see why the Employee Recognition Committee selected Trisha as an award recipient.
“Trisha recently took care of a patient on 3B, who came in with some wounds, and it was obvious the patient wasn’t able to take care of the wounds well at home. She was the nurse for this patient a lot during her stay, and she found out this patient was a neighbor of hers.
When it came time for the patient to go home, the patient would still need help with wound care at home, and she had some issues qualifying for home health. Trisha took it upon herself to continue this patient’s wound care outside of her job, since they were neighbors. This patient recovered, and I believe Trisha may still check on her. Trisha truly is such a kind individual and the embodiment of a Good Samaritan.” – Ashton Smith
