Good Samaritan – KayLee Palmer

Congratulations to KayLee Palmer, a transporter at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, for being honored with the Good Samaritan Award. Please see the nomination below to see why the Employee Recognition Committee selected KayLee as an award recipient.

I became choked in the cafeteria and was unable to clear my throat. I first attempted to clear the obstruction myself, but was unsuccessful. I went to the closest the table behind me and found a group from transport. I could not speak, and Kaylee stepped up to provide me the Heimlich maneuver. With her help, I was able to get the obstruction out. I am so appreciative.” – Jamie Miller
