Georgena Brackett named National President of the WKU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Georgena Brackett, System Director of Health Information Management for Med Center Health, has been named the 2023-2024 National President of the WKU Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Georgena has been with Med Center Health since 2000. She holds three degrees from WKU, and is a lifetime member of the WKU Alumni Association.
“It is an honor to be elected as the president of the WKU Alumni Association,” said Brackett. “In this role, I will have the opportunity to guide our work with our National Board of Directors. We want to be the ultimate connector of WKU Alumni. We have worked hard on a new mission statement that speaks to our vision and our values – ‘To inspire alumni to connect, engage, and pay it forward to the Western Kentucky University community’.”
During her time serving the WKU Alumni Association, Georgena has volunteered in various capacities, and she encourages her fellow Med Center Health WKU alumni to get involved, as well.
“As one of the largest employers in the region, hundreds of WKU alumni and students work for Med Center Health,” said Brackett. “It is exciting to see them grow in their careers everyday as members of the Med Center Health family, as well as fellow Hilltoppers.”
Georgena will serve her term as president until July of 2024.
