Garden Spot Run a success!

The Garden Spot 5K Run/Walk on August 14, hosted by the Franklin Simpson Chamber of Commerce and presented by The Medical Center at Franklin, was a great success. Runners and walkers from across Southcentral Kentucky enjoyed the beautiful course that wound its way from historic downtown Franklin, through partially-shaded residential areas and back to the old Simpson County Courthouse.

The Garden Spot has become a favorite for runners and walkers from across the southeast and is proudly a Bowling Green Road Runners Grand Prix Event. Awards in 14 age categories were presented. The top finisher was John Kudrick from Venice, Florida.
