DAISY Awards announced

Christina Clay, RN, was presented with a DAISY Award after being nominated for going above and beyond in The Medical Center at Bowling Green Labor & Delivery Department. Multiple instances were described where she not only cared for the physical needs of her patients but also the emotional needs of their families. Each occasion showed the compassionate, loving heart of a nurse that wants what is best for her patients and wants to make their stay special even during challenging circumstances. We are grateful for Christina and the care she provides daily to all patients!

Carrie Sheppard, RN, received a DAISY Award at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The family that nominated her shared their experience while undergoing a difficult time in the CCU. Carrie not only cared for their loved one through the last few days of life, but also offered a comforting spirit and reassuring attitude along the way. We want to thank Carrie for the outstanding care she provides to every patient!

Nikki Felts, RN, works at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, and was nominated by a family that was recently touched by her caring heart and hardcore pursuit to get her patient back to where they needed to be! We are thankful for her hard work and appreciate all she does to serve this community.
