Daisy Award – Brenda Hawks
Congratulations to Brenda Hawks on being given the Daisy Award! Brenda is an RN at The Medical Center at Scottsville. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for the excellent care given to your patients. The following is Brenda’s nomination from a patient:
“Brenda was the nurse assigned to my grandmother the night she was admitted to The Medical Center at Scottsville. My Grandmother had come into the ER, and we were aware she was not going to be with us much longer. Brenda came in that night, sat and took her time with my grandmother; who was in the end stages of her life in pain and scared, and she made her feel safe and cared for. This was so helpful in making a difficult time easier. Brenda is a very genuine, caring, and loving person, and we were blessed to have her caring for my grandmother that night. She went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible.” – Anna Fisher-Drummond
