Casey Cordts, MD Joins Pediatric Hospitalist Program
The Medical Center at Bowling Green’s Pediatric Hospitalist Program is growing with the addition of Casey Cordts, M.D., FAAP. With more than 15 years’ experience caring for children, Dr. Cordts joins Medical Director Nicole Anania, D.O., M.S. to staff the Pediatric Hospitalist Program that is a collaboration with UK HealthCare’s Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
As Pediatric Hospitalists, Drs. Anania and Cordts partner with local pediatricians so sick children who need hospitalization do not have to travel for high quality care. They care for children hospitalized for acute illness by managing their hospital stay, consulting and coordinating with specialists, and keeping the child’s pediatrician or family medicine provider updated on their progress. Once discharged from the hospital, the child returns to the care of their provider.
