A New Start for the New Year

The 2023 Health & Wellness Expo drew approximately a thousand people to receive free health screenings and information to improve their health. Screenings included blood pressure, blood glucose, A1C, oral cancer, vision, lung function and stroke risk. Demonstrations included Dangers of Carbon Monoxide; Balance, Posture and Strength; Dancing with the Rockerz; Dangers of Vaping; Bicycle Safety; and the Jumpin’ Jaguars. The Expo was held at the Sloan Convention Center from 8 a.m. until noon on January 14. Many thanks to everyone who made the event such a success!
