Coronavirus (COVID-19) Visitation Restrictions

Visitation restrictions are in effect at all Med Center Health hospitals and Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.

Women in the Arts

Med Center Health is pleased to provide female artists with an opportunity to showcase their work. The exhibit is open to any female artist over 18 years old residing in Kentucky. Awards include Cash Merit Awards, Honorable Mention Awards, ArtWorks Award and the Special Purchase Award. The exhibition committee and a juror select the Special Purchase Award piece, which will be purchased by and displayed at The Medical Center. Creating an atmosphere of safety and comfort is important for healing and recuperation. Artwork purchased by The Medical Center is intended to enhance a healing atmosphere.

2020 Schedule of Events

The Women in the Arts Exhibit is held in the Auditorium of The Medical Center at Bowling Green and is free to the public.

February 14
Entry forms due to Health & Wellness.
(No corrections accepted after this date.)

March 18 | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Delivery of works to The Medical Center Auditorium, 250 Park Street. This is the only time works will be accepted.

March 18
Selection of awards by juror.

March 19 | 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Reception – each artist and a guest are invited to attend a reception in The Medical Center Auditorium. Awards will be presented at the reception.

March 20-21 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
March 22 | 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Exhibit open to public.

March 22 | 2:30 – 3:30
Artists pick up work.
