Two Med Center RN’s get second place at KHA Quality Conference
Millie Caffey and Ashley Hittson got second place at the KHA Quality Conference for their poster presentation highlighting the quality improvement projects taking place at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The poster was titled “Shining a Spotlight on CAUTI Prevention” and highlighted the work MCBG has done to improve their Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) rates and decrease the use of indwelling catheters. Ashley and Millie said The CAUTI workgroup has been instrumental in achieving the results that were presented on the poster.
The Kentucky Hospital Association Quality Conference was held March 12th and 13th in Louisville, KY.
