CRSH celebrates one year CLABSI free

Congratulations to Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital (CRSH) for being one year CLABSI free.

A CLABSI is a central line-associated bloodstream infection, which is a serious infection that happens when bacteria or other germs enter the bloodstream through a central line catheter. These infections are preventable and are a risk with central lines.

I am overwhelmingly proud of our team at CRSH for going one whole year without a CLABSI! We take pride in providing the highest quality care possible, and this accomplishment shows how dedicated our team is to that. Achieving the goal is just one of the ways that CRSH is caring for patients and improving the quality of life in the communities we serve!” – Seth Smith, Administrator/ Director of Patient Care Services at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital
