Leslie Rossetter honored by American Organization for Nursing Leadership

Congratulations to Leslie Rossetter, Director of Medicine Services with The Medical Center at Bowling Green, who has been chosen as a 2021 Young Professional Voices honoree by the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL)!

This program recognizes nurse leaders who exhibit significant potential as a health care leader and demonstrate exemplary leadership within their organization, community and the nursing profession. She was nominated by Katrina Wood, Director of Surgical (Trauma) Services.

“I couldn’t be more proud of Leslie’s accomplishments,” said Jill Payne, Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. “She is much deserving of this recognition and the opportunities it presents.  Leslie’s passion, determination, and drive—coupled with her compassion and commitment—have helped shape the impact of our COVID units on this community.”

Leslie will be recognized among her fellow Young Professional Voices honorees at the AONL 2021 Annual Conference, in the November/December 2020 issue of VOICE magazine, and on the AONL website starting in early November. She will also receive one year of a complimentary AONL membership and will serve on a task force in 2021 to provide feedback and guidance on how AONL can continue to engage young professional nurse leaders.

“I am very appreciative of the opportunity to represent Med Center Health and our nursing department,” Leslie said. “I look forward to being able to engage young nursing leaders to foster growth and development—not only nationally, but in the communities that we serve.”
