Hospitality house

Jean Cherry, a retired employee of CHC and current Med Center Health Foundation Board Member brought a group from Broadway United Methodist Church to tour the Hospitality House this winter. While walking around the facility they discussed the kitchen facility and future volunteer opportunities to come and bake or bring meals to families.  Carla Reagan, Director Community Clinic  mentioned that once the weather warmed they would need the large concrete pots in the courtyard and entryway to be potted with flowers. Laureen Anthony-Palmer, one of the ladies on the tour was quick to jump on the project.  Laureen came back with Patsy Bowman a “Master Gardener” and took pictures of the pots so Patsy could pick the right kinds and amounts of flowers for them to plant in the pots. The ladies returned and made created such a colorful space for patients and their families to visit. Hospitality House is so thankful that Laureen and Patsy donated their time and talent to plant the beautiful flowers that brightened up the courtyard and front porch.
